The Northeast Maryland Security Council is an Industrial Security Awareness Council (ISAC) formed in February 2006, "to build and support the security community through education and awareness."
We are a non-profit association of Defense Contractors, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency (DCSA). These organizations have joined together to promote security awareness in the defense industry by focusing the collective energy and resources of industry and government in Harford, Baltimore, Cecil Counties, and Baltimore City.
To continue promoting security awareness, The Northeast Maryland Security Council would very much like to have you as a member. For more information, please visit our Membership page.
NMSC Board of Directors Elections
Per our council's Bylaws the membership is required to elect the Board of Directors on a bi-annual basis. So, at this time we would like to invite all members in good standing to nominate themselves if they would be interested in serving on the Board of Directors. The Board is intended to represent the makeup of the membership so that members associated or employed by large and small firms are fairly represented. Remember this council was created with volunteers and can not exist without them so please consider being a member of the board!
We will be holding elections for the following positions: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. These are 2-year termed positions.
Please send Andrew Martin, the NMSC President an email with your interest in any of the board positions or if you have any questions and he will be happy to help. His email is Andrew.K.Martin@parsons.com.
